3/12 Run

Great way to start the day is with a 2.26 run which felt good! #GoodDayForARun

"Now no chastening seems to be joyful for the present, but painful; nevertheless, afterward it yields the peaceable fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it. Therefore strengthen the hands which hang down, and the feeble knees, and make straight paths for your feet, so that what is lame may not be dislocated, but rather be healed."--Hebrews 12:11-13.

*"Godliness" (A proper attitude and response toward God; is the prerequisite from which all effective ministry flows. "Excerise" is an athletic term denoting the rigorous, self-sacrificing training an athelete undergoes. Spiritualself-discipline is the path to godly living. The author returns to the race metaphor begun in vv. 1-3 and incorporates langauge take from Isaiah 35:3 to describe the disciplined individual's condition like a weary runner whose arms drop and knees wobble. When experiencing trials in this life, the believer must not allow the circumstances to get the best of him. Instead, he must endure and get his second wind so as to be renewed to continue the race."--via John MacArthur's notes from his study bible.

"Therefore, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God."--1 Corinthians 10:31.
